Hotel Schlossblick - Wernigerode

The Hotel Schlossblick in Wernigerode was ideally located beneath the Castle. The staff were lovely, especially the English-speaking front desk. The breakfast buffet offered a wonderful selection of cereals, breads, cold meats, cheeses, fruits. The hotel provided a voucher booklet with discounts and free bus travel.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Pleasant old building, comfortable rooms.

Location, though a bit complicated to get to by car, was near the old town, which made it easy to walk around. Parking was limited and the second night we had to park in a public parking place. Breakfast was 8 euros, which we thought a lot compared to other hotels and so we didn't have it there. Receptionist friendly but not always there - housekeeper however was friendly and efficient.

The room was huge and beautiful. This hotel stands near the city center, we can go to the city center only 5minutes walk.

This hotel offers great value for money and is located right in the centre of town. The staff are friendly and the rooms are comfortable, especially the ones with a lovely view over the town. The breakfast served here is delicious and really sets you up for the day. Additionally, the attention to detail in the service is commendable.

The location of the hotel is great with only a 10 min walk into the centre of the town. And great views of the Palace.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. Very large room with a big comfy bed. Breakfast was very nice. Sauna was a huge bonus! Great location very close to the castle and town centre.

The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable, with lovely views over the town and even the castle if you're lucky to get one on the second floor or ground floor. The location is perfect, right in the center of town, making it easy to explore. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is decent with a good selection of options.

All in all, our stay at this hotel was more than satisfactory, with no major issues to complain about.

Large room with good lighting and delicious breakfast with various options. Located in a convenient position close to tourist spots and the town center. The sauna room was also a nice bonus.

Poor privacy as there were no nets, and the en-suite window covering was insufficient. The lounge area was used by smokers, and the facilities did not live up to the price paid for the stay.

Excellent Location and Room Comfort During my recent business trip, I had a fantastic stay in a hotel that was perfectly situated for my needs. It was in close proximity to the town center and offered easy access to both the castle and the beautiful Harz mountains. the room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of natural light and comfortable furnishings. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet each morning, which offered a great selection of freshly prepared local dishes.

We loved the central location of the hotel, making it easy to explore this lovely city. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with options like cereals, fruit, and fresh bread. the hotel had great facilities like a sauna room, which we enjoyed using at our convenience. The staff was cute and helpful.
